Adjustments for all

Well we have many adjustments to make.

Jessni is happy to be a big sister but not so happy to have to share mom and dad.  She understands that we need to care for Wesley but still attempts for that equal time at the same time.  She is helpful and doing very well, and the months of preparing for this moment are paying off.  I expect that when we return home that the defending of the "homeland" will be an uphill battle.  For us we will need to figure out what is possible with two in arms at same time, and to help them know that they are so loved even when they are not in the snuggle and the other is.

Wesley is all boy.  He is very active and those of you that know Jessni would consider her very active.  The little guy is ready to keep up and perhaps out do his sister.  Wow, we will need to find ways to kick it up a couple notches to stay with these two.

He is wandering around the hotel rooms looking in anything he can open, using other objects to reach or knock things off of the desks or tables.  He is very alert and is always investigating things where ever we are. When carried we have to have him facing forward or he is constantly twisting around both ways so he can see what there is to see.  We will need to do some major "Wesley proofing" when we first get home.

Mom is not an early riser and guess who is.... Wesley was up at 5:15 this morning and was ready to have his first feeding.  Now when it comes to feeding this boy you are again reminded that he is a boy.  He acts as if he is starving and that is will be the last food he will see for hours.  I think that bottle was downed in less than 60secs.
