Got Ya Day

Today is the super special day that we got Wesley.  Jessni was from the Guangdong providence and we traveled today to the location that we were delighted with her Gotya day.  Emotions are already pushed to the limits and then so many memories were triggered as we arrived on the eight floor with many other families that area also ready to receive a child.  So tears came quickly as we waited as I recalled much of what had transpired on that day, and how she has blessed us.  But today is Wesley's "Gotya Day" and Welsey started off picking up a trait from mom... he was late an hour or so, so enjoyed several others getting there new additions first.

Across the room we caught a glimpse of a couple small boys that were quickly hustled into the baby room, and I was fairly certain that one looked much like the pictures that we have seen. Few minutes later we were united, a little Chinese boy met this big man with graying brown hair and mustache on his face.  He probably had never been held by a man before let along someone that look like this. But he didn't really fuss, but preferred not to look directly at me at first, but enjoyed playing with the toys and later we discovered that he is walking and very mobile.

As I'm writing this he is walking from one end of our two adjoining hotel rooms to the other and back.  He has been very curious about everything around him and so far was most content with dad's watch.

Oh ya, I mom tells me that he has said ma-ma.  Other than my watch he really like the ball, he will pass the ball from one had to the other behind his head. He also likes to throw you the ball over and over, he is pretty squirmy and doesn't like to sit still.

Well that is all for this report... we are exhausted both physically, emotionally and mentally.
